Scholarship Advice

I just learned that Penny Arcade announced their $10000 Scholarship early this year for the 2007-2008 school year. The said scholarship can be applied by currently enrolled or any full time college student attending an accredited educational institution in the Unite States during the 2006-2007 academic school year who maintained a 3.3 GPA.

You do not need to be a gamer to apply but you must have the intention to enter the games industry in some capacity after graduation and you are required to write a two-page essay on how you will fit in game industry together with two letters of recommendation.

The application for this year is closed already but if you are looking for a significant amount of scholarship money, watch out for the Penny Arcade announcement by later this year until early 2008 for any press release about their $10000 scholarship.
