$1500 Renewable Scholarship From USA Funds

USA Funds, the nation’s leading education-loan guarantor has scholarship program called USA Funds Access to Education Scholarships that awards a total of $3.2 Million scholarships. Each chosen scholar will be given a $1500 renewable scholarship. This scholarship is open to all high-school seniors, currently enrolled college students or incoming college students. They must be enrolled in college or equivalent education beginning the fall-2007 term through Feb. 1, 2008.

USA Funds Scholarship is a need based scholarship, therefore applicants must have an annual adjusted gross family income of $35,000 or less, as documented on a 2006 federal 1040 income-tax return on which the applicant is claimed as a federal tax exemption.  Likewise, 50 percent of the scholarship awards will be given to students who belong to ethnic-minority group and students with physical disability.

The beauty of this scholarship program is that students who will be selected as scholars can renew the $1500 scholarship annually as long as they maintain a 2.5 GPA based on a four-point scale. Check will be payable to the school for the student, but it will be mailed to the permanent home address of the students that they specified in their application.

So hurry! Apply online now. Deadline of application for this year is set this coming Feb. 15, 2007. Students need not to submit any requirements when applying online because only finalists will be required to submit additional documentation.
