2008 Scholarship Announcement By Harris Corporation
Harris Corporation announced their 2008 National Merit Scholarship that can be applied by sons and daughters of Harris employees and its subsidiaries who are currently in high school. This scholarship awards two $2,000 scholarship money per year that can be enjoyed by its scholars for up to four years of college undergraduate studies or until their baccalaureate degree requirements have been completed, whichever occurs first.
Interested high school students must meet all requirements for participation in the National Merit Scholarship Program. These requirements are published in the Official Student Guide to the PSAT/NMSQT which is distributed to students through their high schools.
Applicants must also pass the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). For more information about this scholarship, students can also visit the National Merit Scholarship Corporation website.
