American Dream Scholarship From Sallie Mae Fund

The American Dream Scholarship from Sallie Mae Fund is a program intended for African American students with demonstrated financial need. This scholarship is administered by the United Negro College Fund. The scholarship awards $500 to $5000 scholarship assistance.

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you need to be a legal US citizen having at least 2.5 GPA. And since this is a need based scholarship, students must meet the Pell Grant eligibility criteria.  The American Dream Scholarship application is currently open and can be applied until April 15, 2007.
