American Fire Sprinkler National Scholarship Contest
The American Fire Sprinkler Association or AFSA is currently running a National Scholarship Contest that is open to all high school seniors who plan to attend a college/university or trade school in the United States for the fall 2007 semester. This scholarship contest is not based on financial needs and designed to be taken online.
All you need to do is read the Fire Sprinkler Essay carefully and take the 10 questions of online test that is given in multiple choices. The good thing about this contest is that it is an open-book test which means you can print the said essay and make it as ready reference while you are taking the online test.
Each question corresponds to one entry so if you got seven correct answers, your name will be entered seven times during the drawing. However, each student is only allowed to take the exam once. Ten lucky students will be awarded a $2000 scholarship at the end of the contest. The scholarship prize will be paid directly to the educational institution under the student’s account. The student can used it to pay for tuition and/or books and had an option to spend it over a period of four years.
So what are you waiting for? You can easily join this contest at the comfort of your home. No need to pay for anything or submit any school or financial documents. Just be sure that all information you have entered is accurate so that your entry will not be disqualified. Deadline for taking the test is on April 13, 2007. Winners will be published or announced by May 2007.
