Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest

The Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest is part of the educational program of Ayn Rand Institute that awards up to $10000 scholarship money. And aside from the $10,000 as the first prize, the Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest is also awarding three $2000 as second prizes, five $1000 as third prizes, $100 each for 20 finalists and $50 each for 20 semi-finalists.

This essay contest is open for students who are currently enrolled in a college degree program and for high school students who will be in college by fall of 2007. To join the contest, participants must write a 1000-1200 word essay from any one of the three stipulated topics which can be found here.

Deadline for the Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest is on September 17, 2007.
