The Baker Gifted Arts Scholarships that are available at Lehigh University provides scholarship grants to students who are able to exhibit above average talent in such field like instrumental music or theater. Baker has two kinds of scholarships that award $3000 annually to its scholars. The first Baker scholarship at Lehigh University is the Baker Gifted Arts Scholarship in Theatre. This is open for talented students who wish to pursue a career in theater arts. The applicants for this scholarship need to have a theater major or minor at Lehigh and must participate in various theatre department activities.
The second Baker scholarship opportunity that is available in Lehigh is the Baker Gifted Arts Scholarship in Instrumental Music. Under this scholarship, the applicants need not to have any major or minor in music as long as they can take part in Lehigh musical performances and improve musically by taking the sponsored music lessons provided by the college. Both the Theater and Instrumental Music scholarships provided by Baker Gifted Arts are renewable if the scholars maintained at least 2.8 GPA.
