Scholarship Advice

Camp La Jolla announced that they will be awarding 5 Fitness and Health Scholarships this year for the surviving children of military men and women who have lost their lives as part of the global war on terror. Each scholarship is worth $3095 which is equivalent to two weeks fitness and health scholarships for the summer of 2007.

To qualify for this summer fitness scholarship, applicants need to be between 8-17 years old. Applicants should submit essays or videos describing why they or a child you know would benefit from a Camp La Jolla Fitness and Health Scholarship. Deadline for submission of entries is on May 15, 2007. All scholarship winners will be on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2007.
