Capella University Awarded $50,000 Worth Of Scholarships to Injured Military
Capella University who had significant numbers of students from military through its Spirit of Capella Scholarships For Injured Service Members has recently awarded five $10000 scholarships to military personnel who are wounded in Iraqi Operation.
The lucky recipients of these scholarships were Major Patrick Beyer of Berlin, Wisconsin; Ronald Cross of Westminster, Colorado; Sergeant Cherie Davis-Keeter of Attleboro, Massachusetts; First Sergeant Michael Martin of West Long Branch, New Jersey; and Lieutenant Colonel Patrick D. O’Farrell of Bettendorf, Iowa.
The scholars could use their scholarships over next eight quarters from any branch of the U.S. military who have a Rating Decision memo of 20 percent disability or higher from the Veterans Administration as a consequence of being wounded in Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation Iraqi Freedom.
