University of Minnesota Offers Scholarships for Students with Disabilities

University of Minnesota through Robert and Gail Buuck Family Fund for Disability Services is offering scholarship program for deserving students with disabilities. The scholarship provides students with disabilities a way to pursue their higher education and a chance to enhance and support their learning to develop their self advocacy and leadership.

The scholarship fund can be used by students to partially or fully pay their educational expenses. Selection of scholars is conducted by Disability Services according to certain established criteria. Eligible applicants are those having physical disabilities in mobility, hearing, vision, or systemic conditions who are currently enrolled as undergraduate students at the University of Minnesota.

Applicants should also be in good academic standing and if the scholars were able to attain a satisfactory academic progress, The Robert and Gail Buuck Family Fund for Disability Services may grant them another year of scholarship funding.

Scholarship For Students With Epilepsy

Did you know that students with diagnosed epilepsy can apply scholarships from Pfizer? There is a Pfizer Epilepsy Scholarship that is specifically created to help those outstanding students who has overcome the challenges of epilepsy, participated in extracurricular or community activities and under a doctor’s care for epilepsy.

The Pfizer Epilepsy Scholarship provides one year $3000 scholarships for the twenty five outstanding students with epilepsy. Scholars will be selected by the experts in education and medicine.

To join in this Pfizer scholarship, the applicants must high school seniors who has applied to college or currently enrolled students who are taking up undergraduate or graduate studies. The applicants need to register online and send the required documents such as transcript, proof of extracurricular activities and 2 letters of recommendations through postal mail.
