High school seniors who do not have excellent academic grades but excel in community service, sports, extra-curricular activities or work performance are encouraged to apply to a scholarship program that gives value on the admirable services of an individual known as the AXA Achievement Scholarship.
The AXA Achievement Scholarship is the signature program of AXA Foundation which aims to focus on the students personal accomplishment outside their classroom. AXA select scholars in every state nationwide and award scholarship with amounts such as $25,000, $10,000 and $2,000.
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, the students must be citizens or legal residents of the United States, should be in high school seniors and plan to enroll as full- time college student in any 2 or 4 year program in university or college in the US. Aside from the personal achievement of the applicants, they should be also recommended by unrelated adult. The deadline for the submission of application is on December 15, 2007.
