Scholarship Advice

Aside from the scholarship that can be applied by CLFP food processor members or employees and their dependents, the California League of Food Processors also has a scholarship program for students attending the following universities: California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, California State University Chico, California State University Fresno and University of California Davis.

This scholarship is known as the CLFP University Scholarship Program that specifically awards the following number of  scholarships:

• 2 scholarship awards at $2,000 each to students attending at California Polytechnic State University
• 2 scholarship awards at $2,000 each to students attending at University of California Davis
• 1 scholarship award of $2,000 to the students attending at California State University Chico
• 1 scholarship award of $2,000 to the students attending at California State University Fresno

To apply for this CLFP University scholarship program, the students must have strong desire to work in California or U.S. food processing industry or any industry that is affiliated with U.S. food processors. Applicants must be US citizen or permanent US residents and must show proof of financial need.
