This is not an academic scholarship contest but it is worth mentioning here because the prizes in this contest include a new Lenovo Ideapad Y-510 laptop computer and an Olympus E3 digital camera that are helpful for students in doing their research works and projects or home works. Plus, the experience that students can get from joining this contest is a significant opportunity of a lifetime.
So what scholarship is this? Well, it is the National Geographic on-assignment photography contest in the Australian Outback which is open to all currently enrolled college students all around the world who are at least 18 years of age, have passion in photography and available for travel in Longreach, Australia from August 19-26, 2008.
