DHS Scholarship and Fellowship Program

The DHS scholarship program is being awarded by US Department of Homeland Security with the mission to provide advantage in the development and implementation of counter-terrorist measures and other DHS objectives.

This program is backed by the Science and Technology Directorate, Office of Research, University Programs and is open for students who plan to enroll in courses with specialization in physical sciences, psychology, social sciences, engineering , mathematics, computer and information sciences.

The DHS Scholarship provides a $1,000 monthly stipend that is given for 9 months during the academic year. It also award $5,000 for the 10-week summer internship, full tuition and mandatory, nonrefundable fees paid on the school.

However, since this scholarship provides very good assistance for their scholars, they do require comprehensive requirements. And before you can apply for DHS scholarships, you need to answer a list of questions to determine your eligibility for the scholarship. After responding to those questions, it is only then that you can access the application form.
