Eagle Scout Scholarship Competition
Every year, the American Legion conducts a scholarship competition through nominations for all graduating high school students who are registered and active members of Boy Scout Troop, Varsity Scout Team or Venturing Crew. Eligible nominees are those who have received an Eagle Scout award and members or dependents of American Legion.
The Eagle Scout Scholarship Competition awards the grand prize winner an amount of $10,000 scholarship and $2,500 each for the three runner-up winners. This scholarship money can be used by the scholars to enroll in any accredited college or university within the United States right after their graduation from high school.
To request for more information, you may send a request at Department Adjutants, or the Americanism and Children & Youth Division and mail it at The American Legion, P.O. Box 1055, Indianapolis, IN 46206. All nominations must be received before March 3, 2008. To download the Nomination Form, please go to this page.
