Farm Credit Services Scholarship Program

Children and customer-members of Farm Credit Services of Mid-America may apply for the Farm Credit Services Scholarship Program. Farm Credit Services of Mid-America offers 36 scholarships where in 18 students will receive scholarship amounting to $1,500 each and another 18 students will each receive $1000 worth of scholarship.

Scholarships are awarded based on the applicants’ academic record, leadership qualities and community involvement.  To be qualified to apply, a student applicant must be currently enrolled or plan to enroll in the college of agriculture at any 4-year college within the United States.

He or she must a good academic standing for the academic year in which the scholarship is received.  Applicants must obtain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and have an agricultural background or work related experienced in agriculture. The application deadline for academic year 2010-2011 is on February 26, 2010. Scholars are selected in March and results will be posted  in April.
