Harriet and Leon Pomerance Fellowship Grant

The Harriet and Leon Pomerance Fellowship Grant is provided by the Archaeological Institute of America and aims to support individual project of a scholarly nature that is related to Aegean Bronze Age Archaeology. Preference is given to students whose project requires travel to the Mediterranean for the purpose stated above.

Qualified applicants are those who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States or Canada. Students who are actively pursuing an advance degree at any North American College or University are also welcome to apply. The amount of financial support is $5,000 and the recipient is required to submit a report on the use of the stipend to the Chair of the AIA Fellowships Committee.

Deadline of application is this coming November 1, 2008 and the winner will be announced by February 1, 2009.
