Scholarship Advice

Are you a current college student and need additional cash for your upcoming college enrollment? Why not join Christopher’s 20th Video Contest for College Students? This is not a scholarship but just like scholarship contests, this competition is open only for college students and you can use the cash prize towards your college tuition.

Joining is simple because you just need to make a maximum of 5 minutes film with this belief: “One person can make a difference.” You can use any theme or any genre and shoot it using any format. The film entry must be submitted in full-sized NTSC-format VHS tape or as Region 1 or region-less DVDs. And see to it that your recorded video does not exceed five minutes because longer than 5 minutes duration will be disqualified.

The video entries will be judged according to its overall impact, effectiveness of conveying theme, artistic merit and technical proficiency. First prize winner will be awarded $3,000. $2000 for the second place winner and $1,000 for third place winner. There will also be 5 honorable mention winners that will receive $100 each.
