Knowledge Matters Scholarship Opprtunity For High School Students

Junior and senior high school business, marketing or personal finance students throughout the United States are invited to join the 2009 Virtual Business Scholarship Program. This scholarship program of Knowledge Matters, the maker of Virtual Business simulations aims to assist high school students in their upcoming college expenses.

Knowledge Matters will award $1,000, $500 and $250 to the first place, second place and third place winners respectively. To join in the 2009 Virtual Business Scholarship Program, students should be nominated by their teachers. It is a must that nominated students demonstrate brilliance in their business, marketing or personal finance classes.

Applications are done online, the teacher must upload the essay describing how the nominated student excels in his/her business, marketing or personal finance class and shows interest and accomplishment in the use of technologies in the said subjects. In addition, the student must also upload his/her essay describing what she/he has gained from the technology experiences within the business, marketing or personal finance subject areas.

The deadline for application is on April 1, 2009.
