The National MS Society Scholarship Program is intended for students that are afflicted with multiple sclerosis or children of people with MS and will be pursuing a college education for the first time. This is an annual scholarship program which is usually open for applicant during October until January.
The MS Society scholarship program awards $1000 to $3000 scholarship assistance per scholar. To further qualify for this scholarship, applicant aside from having multiple sclerosis or having a parent with multiple sclerosis must be a legal United States citizen and must be enrolled in at least six credit hours per semester in course work leading to a degree, license, or certificate.
This scholarship is administered and can be applied through Scholarship America, a national nonprofit educational support and student aid service organization, they are the one who receives and screens all applications for this scholarship.
