OPC Scholarship For Aspiring Foreign Correspondents
The Overseas Press Club Foundation with its aim to improve the media’s understanding of international issues as well as to lift the quality of news-gathering efforts in covering the world is awarding 12 scholarships amounting to $2000 each to students who desire to pursue a career as foreign correspondents.
The scholarship program is open for all undergraduate and graduate students who are studying in any college or universities within the Unites States. Applying for this scholarship is simple because the college students need only to submit around 500-word essay that should talk about an international subject or issue and prepare a cover letter to reflect the students’ information and how they came to be interested in writing or international affairs. Essay entries may be submitted through email or postal mail with the usual deadline of December each year.
