Photography Scholarship Competition

If you are a high school student or a college student who is also an amateur photographer or simply loves photography, why not join this annual scholarship competition that is provided by MyParkPhotos?

Joining this photo contest could win you up to $1000 scholarship money that you can use for your college tuition. All you need to do is submit three photographs and write one 250 word article/essay about your subject. Winners will be judged based on focus, composition, lighting, technical superiority, impact, creativity, grammar and storytelling.

However, there is a $10 entry fee for this contest. But don’t fret because each participant will receive a 2007 MyParkPhotos Calendar, $15.00 coupon from Hunt’s Photo and Video and another $15.00 coupon for “In the Field” photography workshop at the First Coast Birding and Nature Festival in St. Augustine, Florida on April 12-15.

Just make sure that your entry will be submitted by July 31, 2007.  Be sure that you read the scholarship contest rule before joining this contest.
