Scholarship Advice

Riviana Foods Inc. made an announcement that the application deadline for their Carolina, Mahatma and Riceland Rice Scholarships will be this coming February 15, 2007.

So if you are a high school senior student from New York/New Jersey, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco/San Jose and Miami, you still have time to brace yourself and apply for the above scholarship. You could be one of the 27 scholars that will be awarded a $2000 scholarship money.

Applicants must submit their application along with their 250 word essay about the personal challenges other than financial that you are expecting to overcome in college.

For more information about this scholarship, students from New York and New Jersey Metro Area could visit the Carolina Rice Scholarship website. Students coming from Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco and San Jose Metro Areas may visit Mahatma Rice Scholarship website.
