Scholarship Contest For International Students

SpeedyPin, a 1st-USA.com Phonecards, Inc. Company is running a $500 scholarship contest for all graduate and undergraduate international students who are studying or planning to enroll this semester to any accredited college or university in the United States.

To join this scholarship contest, participants must have F-1 or J-1 visa status and need to be at least 18 years of age. This contest is an essay writing contest and students need to have personal blog or must set up one to post their essay entries.

The student may choose to write a 300 to 500-word essay from the any of the following topics:

1. Imagine that you had a “magical” phone card that would allow you to call anyone in history, dead or alive. Tell us who it would be, why you’ve chosen this person, and what questions you would ask him/her. (Feel free to be creative and make this fun).
2. How often do you communicate with your family when you’re in school? How has your family’s support helped you to adjust to life in America?
3. How will receiving an education in the United States help prepare you to live and work in an increasingly global economy?

The essay must be posted to the participant’s blog with the corresponding Official Participation Signature. There is no purchase requirement to join this contest and all entries must be submitted before May 31, 2007 at 12:00 pm PST. There is a 1000 entry restriction for this contest so do you best to submit your entry at the earliest possible time.
