Scholarship For A Child Of Restaurant Employee
If you are a son or a daughter of a restaurant employee, you may be eligible to receive a scholarship that range from $500 to $5,000 from William F. Carl Scholarship Fund. This scholarship program aims to support the children of restaurant industry employees for their hard work and dedication that contributed to the growth and success of the industry.
William F. Carl Scholarship Fund is open to children of restaurant employee who are high school senior, high school graduate or current undergraduate college student and aged not more than 24 years old. They must enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study no later than September of the succeeding year of their application at any accredited college or vocational school in the United States.
Scholars may renew their scholarship if they managed to maintain a 3.0 GPA and submitted the scholarship renewal application. This scholarship is judged and chosen by the NC HEF board of trustees based on the academic achievement, extra curricular activities and gathered recommendations by the applicants. Application deadline is around January, so you need to apply by the last quarter of the year.
