Scholarship For Siblings Of Children With Cancer
Hearing a child diagnosed with cancer is truly a heartbreaking news especially for the parents of the child. And it is a fact that a pediatric cancer diagnosis affects everyone in the family even their siblings.
And this is what the SuperSibs Foundation wants to reach out: the siblings of the child who is diagnosed with cancer. The organization is providing support to the siblings to help them draw out the greater and important lessons that may benefit these children later in their own lives.
The foundation is likewise offering a scholarship program that will benefit the sibling of the patient cancer. And this 2007, SuperSibs will award 5 $5000 scholarships for the graduating high school seniors. To qualify for this scholarship, you need to be a sibling of a child diagnosed with cancer, living in United States and a graduating high school senior from accredited institution by fall of 2007. Deadline for application is on February 2, 2007.
