Scholarship For Young American Water Skiers

The American Water Ski Educational Foundation runs an annual scholarship program to help out on the financial needs of the young and active members of  USA Water Ski organizations such as  AWSA; ABC; AKA; WSDA; NSSA; NCWSA; NWSRA; USAWB and USHA who are currently enrolled a full-time college students at any 2 year or 4 year program in an accredited college institution.

Every year, the AWSEF awards an average of six scholarships amounting to $1500 each. To be eligible for this program, applicants must be a US citizen who is a current American Water Ski Association member. Applicants need not to be great or exceptional water skiers because the selection of scholars is based on academic qualifications, financial need, extra-curricular activities and recommendations.

Students must complete the application form and submit all the requirements together with two letter of reference and a 500-word essay about the topic specified by AWSEF. The usual deadline for submission of the application and all the requirements is every March 1.
