Siemens Scholarship
The Siemens Foundation is giving a premier and prestigious scholarship through a science competition that is participated by the brightest and most intelligent students from almost all high schools across United States. Siemens awarded almost $2 million scholarship money every year so it is just follows that the requirements are steep. Siemens science competition also gave credit to the school and the teachers of the student contestants so, in order to join this scholarship contest, you need to be supported and endorsed by your school and teachers. The projects that are submitted to this contest should be something that of national science value because it will be screened and judged thoroughly. The initial phase of the scholarship competition includes applications to the Educational Testing Service to outline the student’s science project, abstract, and supporting documents. There are usually around three hundred projects that are being selected by judges as semi-finalists who proceed onto the second phase, the regional finalists. At the second phase, students present their projects as a poster presentation to a panel of judges and will be followed by a question and answer session. The winners at this phase will then advance to third and final phase as national finalists. National finalists are subjected to very intensive judging. Those whose projects reflect the highest scientific merit are awarded the scholarships. More information about the Siemens Scholarship can be read here.
