Study Abroad Scholarship For International Business Students

Students of International Business degree programs who wish to study abroad may apply for the John T. Petters Foundation Scholarship to get extra $5,000 money that can be used to pay for the scholars’ tuition, travel fees or lodging expenses on their year long, semester or summer study abroad programs.

Eligible International Business undergraduate students are those who have US citizenship and have financial needs to support their studies especially those working students, currently on loans or students who came from family with low income.

Other important criteria to be one of the 24 to 40 scholarship winners are the applicant’s personal essay that reflects his passion for education, academic performance and recommendation letters. Special attention will be extended to those who do not have any international experience yet and those students that plan to use their scholarship for programs that focus on cultural immersion and program with duration of three weeks of more.

The deadline this year’s application is this coming December 15, 2007. Click here to download the application form or you may go to the FAQ page of the foundation scholarship to learn more about this program.
