The 2008 Coca-Cola Salute To Excellence Scholarship Award
The Coca-Cola has a special scholarship program for students who are taking up culinary arts and food-service programs whether they are taking up a degree program, an associate program or even a certificate program as long as the program is related in restaurant or food service industry.
The Coca-Cola provides this scholarship in cooperation of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. The award amount that scholars can receive in this scholarship is $5,000. For the year 2008, interested applicants should create 3 short essays describing the following topics/theme: Difficult situation that they successfully handled while on the job (250-350 words); The person whom you considered as your career role model and why (350-500 words); and How do you plan to contribute to your local community, your state and NRA during your career as a restaurant and food service professional (150-200 words).
