The Accenture Scholarship Program

The Accenture Scholarship Program is intended for minority students such as African American, Hispanic, Asian American and Native American who are taking up degrees in degrees in engineering, computer science and other degree of studies that are related in information systems or management sciences.

Accenture awards $2,500 scholarship for undergraduate study. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be enrolled as full-time students in at least the third year of course work by the fall semester. Likewise, scholars are selected according to their major, GPA and involvement in extracurricular activities.  This scholarship however, is not based in financial needs.

To improve the chance of applicants to be selected as scholars, they must do well in their essays since Accenture through its scholarship administrator (Scholarship America) looks for overall content and originality of the student’s writings.

The Accenture Scholarship Program for 2009 just opened up and will only accept applications until January 31, 2009.
