The American Legion Legacy Scholarship is a program for uplifting the education future of the children of active duty United States military and Guard, and Reserve personnel who were federalized and died on active duty on or after September 11, 2001.
This program is open to the above said children who are already in their high school seniors. They can use the American Legion Legacy Scholarship for any undergraduate degree programs at accredited college institution in the United States.
There is no definite amount of scholarship that are given to the scholars because it will depend on the income derived from the trust. However, scholars of this program can apply for renewal of the award. Eligible students may obtain the scholarship application here. This should be completed and submitted on or before April 15.
