The Hear Me Project Contest

Here is one example of a contest that can be joined by students between 14 to 22 years old from the Hear Me Project. It is composed of two separate contests: writing contest and video contest which are both about HIV and AIDS awareness.

The prize at stake at the writing contest is $2,500 and it requires the participants to submit a maximum of
5page double-spaced or neatly handwritten story about personal vulnerability in HIV/AIDS. Stories can be either be fiction or non fiction. On the other hand, the prize at stake at video contest is $1,000. The required entry for this contest is a 2-minute documentary or narrative video about vulnerability in HIV/AIDS. The video may e submitted online or through postal.

Participants should accomplish the contest entry form and submit it together with the entry. Deadline for submission is on December 1, 2007 and the winners will be announced by February 8, 2008.
