The Minority Student Scholarship From Daniel Kovach Foundation

The Daniel Kovach Foundation is currently running a scholarship program that is open for students who belong to minority group. If you are a Native American, Hispanic, Black or a Pacific Islander and have at least 3.0 GPA and currently enrolled in college, then may be the one to receive the $1,000 scholarship money that the foundation is giving away this year.

To join in this program, all you need to do is to fill out their online application form and write a maximum of 300-word essay that will reflect how being a  minority affected your pre-college education; How being a minority positively affected your character;  and where do you see yourself in 10 years. Be sure to write good because this is where the selection of winner will be judged. Deadline is on December 15, 2007 so you still have lot of time to write your best piece.
