The WALTON Family Foundation Scholarship awards a one-time scholarship money amounting to $10,000. The $10,000 is equally distributed over four years and can be sued by the scholars to pay for their tuition, books and on-campus room and board.
This scholarship is available to students who will graduate in their high school between August 1, 2007 and July 31, 2008 regardless whether they are home schooled or regular high school students. However, to be qualified to apply for WALTON Family Foundation Scholarship, the applicant needs to be a dependent of an active full-time Associate of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. for at least twelve consecutive months until April 25, 2008.
Once you become a WALTON Family Foundation scholar, you are required to maintain a GPA of 3.0 in 12 earned college credit hours per semester and send the term grade transcripts as soon as possible every after term to maintain your scholarship eligibility.
